当哥伦比亚武里蒂卡项目在安第斯山脉深处落地生根、稳步推进,一位哥伦比亚本土先锋的身影愈发耀眼——他就是胡安・卡洛斯・坎奇拉・迪亚斯。

As the Buritica Project in Colombia takes root and progresses steadily deep in the Andes Mountains, the figure of a local Colombian pioneer shines brighter—he is Juan Carlos Canchila Díaz.

自2023年加入公司以来,他凭借丰富的本土经验、务实的工作作风与坚定的责任担当,破解项目筹建困局、架起中外协作桥梁、践行惠民发展理念,在与公司的并肩成长中,书写着中外合作共赢的动人篇章。

Since joining the company in 2023, with his profound local expertise, pragmatic approach and firm sense of duty, he has overcome challenges in project development and preparation, facilitated and bridged collaboration between China and foreign parties, and advanced the people-centered development philosophy. Growing together with the company, he is composing a remarkable story of win-win progress in Sino-foreign cooperation.

 

初遇宏大:勇毅破局启新程

 

与宏大相遇的起点,是一场勇闯山海的开拓。2022年,哥伦比亚武里蒂卡项目筹建工作启动。彼时,拥有丰富的矿山安全管理经验、熟悉本地政策、当地人脉广泛的坎奇拉,正在寻求职业新突破。

His encounter with Hongda was a bold venture into new frontiers.In 2022, the preparation work for the Buritica Project in Colombia kicked off. At that time, Canchila, who possesses extensive mine safety management experience, a deep understanding of local policies and a wide network of local connections, was seeking a new breakthrough in his career.

2023年3月1日,坎奇拉正式加入公司,与肖泽波等6人组成项目筹建小队,扎根安第斯山脉深处——这里山高路陡、交通闭塞,物资运输困难,办公与休憩的场所只能设在闷热狭小的临时集装箱,加上对当地法规政策、办事流程的陌生,让项目筹建举步维艰。

On March 1, 2023, Canchila officially joined the company and formed a project setup team of 6 with Xiao Zebo.

They were stationed deep in the Andes, where steep terrain and poor road conditions made transportation and material supply extremely difficult.

Office and accommodation space was limited to cramped, stuffy temporary containers.

Coupled with unfamiliarity with local laws, regulations and administrative procedures, the project faced severe challenges in its early stages.

 

山海挡不住开拓的脚步,困境磨不灭奋进的初心。尽管困难重重,可刻在宏大人骨子里的勇毅,让这支跨国籍团队无人退缩、迎难而上。

Even obstacles vast as mountains and seas cannot hinder the pace of exploration,and hardships cannot dim the original aspiration of progress.

Despite immense challenges, the courage and perseverance inherent in Hongda’s spirit have made this cross-national team stand united and rise to every difficulty without hesitation.

 

筹建期间,多重难题接踵而至,他始终冲锋在前、主动担当:他用近三个月,牵头完成公司设立、合规体系搭建等工作,确保各项流程完全契合合同要求与当地法规;仅用15天时间,联动10余家本土供应商,打通中国设备进口报关、跨境运输、现场交接的全流程,成功将设备从加勒比海岸顺利运抵项目现场……白天,他以本土视角搭建沟通桥梁,奔走于市场与政府部门疏通渠道;夜晚,他与团队伏案钻研、对接总部,常常奋战至凌晨。

During the project preparation phase, multiple challenges arose one after another, yet he always took the lead and shouldered responsibilities proactively.

Over nearly three months, he spearheaded the company establishment and the development of its compliance system, ensuring all procedures fully complied with contractual requirements and local laws and regulations.

In just 15 days, he coordinated with more than 10 local suppliers to streamline the entire process—covering customs clearance for imported Chinese equipment, cross-border transportation, and on-site handover—and successfully delivered the equipment from the Caribbean coast to the project site.

By day, he acted as a bridge for communication from a local perspective, shuttling between the market and government authorities to smooth channels.By night, he collaborated closely with the team and maintained timely communication with headquarters, ensuring efficient and round-the-clock support for the project.

半年攻坚,终有回响——2023年7月15日,武里蒂卡项目举行开工剪彩仪式,他穿着整洁的工装,全程协调现场流程。当爆炸声在山谷中回荡,标准化营地与现代化车间在群山间展露雏形,他拿出手机,拍下这一幕,发给远方的家人,语气坚定地说:“这是宏大人一起闯出来的成绩。

Half a year of intensive efforts finally paid off. On July 15, 2023, the groundbreaking ceremony for the Buritica Project was held. Dressed in neat work attire, he coordinated the on-site procedures throughout. As the blasting echo reverberated through the valley, and the standardized camp and modern workshop took shape among the mountains, he took out his phone, captured the moment and sent it to his family far away, saying firmly: "This is an achievement made by all of us at Hongda through hard work."

 

 

同行宏大:同心聚力共成长

 

 

与宏大同行的路上,是一场同心聚力的成长。在武里蒂卡项目推进过程中,坎奇拉用耐心与务实,架起了中外沟通的桥梁,也让协作的力量不断凝聚。

Working at Hongda is a journey of unity and mutual growth. In the advancement of the Buritica Project, Canchila built a bridge for Chinese-foreign communication with patience and pragmatism, further strengthening the power of collaboration.

 

中方同事向坎奇拉耐心传授公司安全管理标准,而坎奇拉则分享当地安全规范与风土人情。中外团队协同修订项目SOP标准作业流程时,坎奇拉结合本地施工习惯,提出多条优化建议均被采纳。

Chinese colleagues patiently taught Canchila the company’s safety management standards, while Canchila shared local safety regulations and local customs. When the Chinese and foreign teams jointly revised the project’s SOP, Canchila put forward several optimization suggestions based on local construction practices, all of which were adopted.

作为安全副经理,他每日现场巡查,随身携带安全检查手册,对违规操作当场制止、立即纠正,对安全隐患现场督办、及时整改,以严谨细致的工作作风筑牢项目安全防线,项目安全管理成效也获得了业主方的高度认可。

As Deputy Safety Manager, he conducted daily on-site inspections with a safety inspection manual in hand. He stopped and corrected irregular operations on the spot, and supervised and rectified potential safety hazards immediately, building a solid safety defense line for the project with a rigorous and meticulous work style. The project’s safety management performance has also been highly recognized by the owner.

 

随着项目推进,项目团队从最初的6人扩展至360余人,其中哥伦比亚籍员工占比超90%;项目月掘进量从初期的150米,逐步突破至800米。

As the project progressed, the team expanded from the initial 6 members to more than 360 members, with Colombian employees accounting for over 90%. The monthly tunneling footage increased from an initial 150 meters to over 800 meters.

 

在一次项目总结会上,他拿着话筒,看着身边的中外队友,真诚地说:“作为宏大的一份子,我深以为豪,大家共同把项目做好,就是最棒的事。

At a project summary meeting, holding a microphone and looking at his Chinese and foreign teammates beside him, he said sincerely: "I am proud to be part of Hongda, Working together to deliver the project successfully is the most rewarding thing."

 

 

并肩宏大:联动社区促就业

 

 

与宏大并肩的担当,是一场深耕本土的坚守。武里蒂卡项目推进过程中,公司始终践行“干一个工程,惠及一方百姓”,而坎奇拉,正是这一理念的具体践行者。

Standing side by side with Hongda embodies a commitment to rooted local development. During the implementation of the Buritica Project, the company has always upheld the philosophy of "carrying out a project to benefit a local community", and Canchila is the embodiment of this concept.

     深耕当地不是一句口号,而是扎根社区的坚守,是让发展成果惠及每一位当地人的赤诚。作为土生土长的哥伦比亚人,他最懂当地居民的需求,也主动扛起了公司与当地社区沟通衔接的责任。项目建设初期,武里蒂卡及周边社区的居民因缺乏矿业经验和相关认证,对公司招聘顾虑重重,不少人甚至拒绝上门沟通。

Rooting in the local community is not an empty slogan, but a commitment to integrating into the community and ensuring development benefits reach every local resident. 

As a native Colombian, he understands the needs of local residents best and takes the initiative to shoulder the responsibility of communication and coordination between the company and local communities. In the early stage of project construction, residents of Buritica and surrounding communities were hesitant about the company’s recruitment due to a lack of mining experience and relevant certifications, and many even refused door-to-door communication.

 

为此,他改变沟通方式,带着项目宣传册、技能培训手册和岗位薪资说明,挨家挨户走访社区居民。遇到不愿沟通的居民,他就坐在门口,用本地方言耐心讲解,拿出培训案例和上岗员工的薪资单,让大家直观了解“培训+就业”的具体路径;针对部分居民担心培训后无法上岗的顾虑,他当场承诺,培训合格者优先录用。

To address this, he adjusted his communication approach, visiting households one by one with project brochures, skill training manuals and job salary descriptions. 

For residents unwilling to talk, he sat at their doorsteps and explained patiently in the local dialect, presenting training cases and salary slips of employed staff to help them clearly understand the "training + employment" approach. 

To ease concerns that some residents might not secure jobs after training, he promised on the spot that those who passed the training would be given priority for employment.

在坎奇拉的努力下,截至目前,已有超过百名社区居民通过培训后在项目上岗,涵盖爆破作业、矿山辅助及设备操作等多个工种。家住武里蒂卡社区的居民罗德里格斯,通过培训上岗后,每月收入较之前提升60%,他特意找到坎奇拉表示感谢,而坎奇拉只是笑着说:“这是你自己努力的结果,也是我们共同的心愿。”

Thanks to Canchila’s efforts, more than 100 local community residents have been employed at the project after training so far, covering various positions such as blasting operations, mine assistance and equipment operation. 

Rodríguez, a resident of the Buritica community, saw his monthly income increase by 60% after being employed through training. He sought out Canchila to express his gratitude, but Canchila just smiled and said: "This is the result of your own hard work, and it is also our shared aspiration."

 

如今,每天清晨,他都会提前半小时到岗,先巡查一遍现场安全情况,再梳理当天的社区对接和培训工作。他说,将继续做好项目安全管控与本土协作,带着哥伦比亚本地员工一起成长,助力武里蒂卡项目持续推进。

Nowadays, every morning, he comes to work half an hour early, first inspecting the safety situation on site, and then sorting out the community communication and training work for the day. He says he will continue to excel in project safety control and local collaboration, work together with Colombian local employees, and support the steady progress of the Buritica Project.

 

以先锋之姿破局,以坚守之力致远,坎奇拉与宏大并肩,在安第斯山脉书写着跨越山海的共赢篇章。

Breaking through dilemmas as a pioneer and forging ahead with perseverance, Canchila stands with Hongda, writing a chapter of mutual success across the Andes Mountains.
